Interpretations IX: Art and Music through a Humanities Lens
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon exploring visual and musical arts. CAFE Flutes will provide live music that relates to four works of fine art on display in Arizona Art Alliance’s Interpretations XI Exhibition. Experience the juxtaposition of paintings with the live music. The program, facilitated by leading humanities professors, will build meaning and create dialogue about how artists and composers express their ideas, and how audiences process them. This interdisciplinary event invites artist and audience participation!
Four featured artists from 2025 event TBD.
Featured artists from 2024 event: Robert Wood, Dawn Zintel, Augie Tantalo, Sheri Ashton
“Artists know that the very, very personal is universal. They invite us to participate, to interact, but we don’t always have opportunities that foster this interaction. The process of engagement can be made more possible by dialogue.”
